劇情簡介：1922年，年僅18歲，才氣縱橫的達利（羅伯派汀森飾演）來到馬德里大學，立志要成為名垂青史的偉大藝術家！他既害羞又狂野不羈的獨特氣質很快吸引了學校裡另外兩位才子的目光－佛多里柯賈西亞羅卡、以及路易斯布紐爾。很快地，這三個年輕藝術家便成為全馬德里最能掀起潮流的知名人物。然而，達利發現，他已逐漸愛上羅卡，完全無法自拔。此時在信仰戒律與肉體慾望兩相折磨中的羅卡承受極大煎熬，而當他得知達利前往巴黎，和布紐爾合作一部超現實主義電影，並和一位有夫之婦卡拉有染時，脆弱的他更是瀕臨崩潰。1936年，西班牙內戰瀕臨爆發，當羅卡收到達利和卡拉的邀宴，發生了一場難以想像的災難。一週後，當達利正在舉辦派對時，卻收到好友羅卡在戰亂中遇刺身亡的噩耗。達利傷心欲絕、幾近崩潰，直到此刻他才發現，原來他一直在壓抑自己對羅卡的深摯愛戀。但這一切，都已太晚…
